Life is full of transitions. Some we look forward to more than others. We look forward to the birth of beautiful little blessings called babies, we fear the transition of letting our loved ones pass through death. We love the transition of being proclaimed 'of age', but somehow get scared of going 'over the hill.' We can't help it. Transitions get us through bad memories, stir up old emotions and highten new ones. Marriage. Birthdays. The new house. The new car.

Here the school year is coming to a close. A summer to look forward to, old friends to see. Other friends to let go of... this, most of all, is the most difficult. Friends whom you have known for years. Friends whom you have known for months. It's a tough transition to release them from the immediate grasp of *your* life....but you have to let them live theirs. God has a plan for each and everyone of us, and no matter where we go, or what we do, or even if we never see eachother again in our short time of mortal existence, He has blessed us with each other. The jokes, the love, the guidance, the prayers.... that which we have been able to give eachother has made us who we are, and have powerfully impacted us ... and all to the glory of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It's all for Him - even these transitions.

Yes, it's not easy to go through transitions.... trust me, and believe me (i HAVE moved 12 times in my life...). There is going to be pain, and tears, and fears. But it's all for God's plan, and all for His Glory. And he's not going to leave us hanging. He'll get us through every transition along the way, and He'll get us to the finish line.

And what a prize there will be.

just something to think about. <><
