Alright, here we go, one more time...

It's *crazy* to be back at school. To know that I may have as little as two years left here, to see new friends, to meet back up with people from the past, it is odd. What's wierd this third time around...
1.to have senior friends to be gone and not coming back :(
2. for Saga Steve to ask you if Joy is back (and to sadly tell him that she has transferred)
3. to see your sister more at school than you got to all summer
4. to share a room with your best friend..for the third year in a row :) (happy almost 20th b'day!)
5.to eat Saga on plastic plates for days in a row b/c their washer is broken
6.to wake up to construction equipment at 6 AM pounding away and shaking your entire room
7. to have a cell phone and be able to talk outside your cement wall room (ahem...847.452-0232....*wink*)
8.to be in CHARGE of things, instead of being just a kiddie following the crowd and trying to learn the ropes, you have to lead the crowds and hold the ropes for others now.
9. to have friends not recognize you b/c your hair is so different (Yes, it's true! and although i nearly started hyperventilating when my hair dresser cut it off, it looks cute in it's shortness. :) And i will try to post a pic when I figure out how to do so.:) )

So far, classes have been good. Some were much more interesting than others- so far i think i'll have lots of fun in Drawing and Art in the Elementary Classroom, Religion will be a fantastic chance for me to actually STUDY the Bible, Educational Psychology may give me the chance to go to an Amish school (YAY AND WAY COOL!!) and Computers will teach me about Macs, which i know nothing about. So, i'm excited to learn.:)

I've already been learning a lot about forgiving and forgetting, pressing on, determination, dealing with your past, loving others, and living for others and for God before you constantly get stuck on your own problems. I think it's going to be a great year for growth in my faith, ya'll ....and that's the coolest journey I can imagine for myself right now. I just pray that it all works out.:)

God Bless your day!!! <><

oh, my dear roomie... being back in the same 12x14 "cubicle" as you is SUCH a happy thing! and what a way to start the year... with you dragging out my birthday about two and a half weeks longer than i deserve... you have no idea how much your thoughtfulness meant... i am blown away!

it is so good to be back on campus with you, doing all the random "roomie things" we do -- just know that i am so thankful for this time, and so, so grateful for YOU and your beautiful friendship. i love you.
